July 30, 2005 - Domesday Book
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Society, the Scribes of An Tir have created a domesday book, containing hand calligraphed and illuminated pages about our Kingdom.
Many of the people who participated in the project, including it's co-ordinator, HL Aelana Cordovera, were members of Holly House. One of our household members, Lady Alienor Sanz-Argent has created a website of a photo-essay about the creation of the book. You can view it here
At Tir Righ Summer Investiture this weekend past, Mistress Seiglynda was made a member of the Ordre de L'Etoile d'Argent (Order of the Silver Star). This award is give for arts and sciences efforts done to further the principality. Mistress Seiglynda has served as a principal scribe for a number of reigns, creating dozens of scrolls and charters, but her most significant contribution has to be the encouragement, praise, constructive criticism and inspiration she gives to all of us.
